Long time lurker first time poster. I have a simple quick question. Is there a way to sort the search to see the newest listings first?

Not that I can see! The closest filter you’ll find to figuring out the new listings is by scaling it to look at the cheapest properties available. 
Newer listings are normally towards the top. So just do a search for whatever area you are interested in staying in. They normally have ‘new’ next to them.
