We’re Carol and Mac, a retired couple living in Lancaster.

Carol worked for many years as a Special Needs teacher. She enjoys “Scandinavian Noir” crime fiction, early music and her canal-side garden. She’s very interested in clothes and textiles, and she makes old-fashioned rugs. She and Mac share a love of art in all its forms.

Mac worked as a zoologist and a criminologist. He’s supported Southend United FC for 49 years, he cooks a mean risotto and he reads SF, military history and modern British writers. He’s a fan of the Clash, Scritti Politti, Dexys Midnight Runners, early Fairport Convention and the wonderful, immortal Judee Sill.

We both love going to Greece - particularly to a relatively unvisited island in the Cyclades called Andros.
