I’m semi-retired 74 yr old handyman with a big house ( original part built 1850) that was divided in two when my wife’s parents shared it with us.
So now 5 of our 6 kids have left home, it make sense to Airbnb the other half, as I can block off dates when they return for a while.
I’m now a superhost, but don’t know if that is a great help - I’m getting more than enough bookings to keep me happy.
I’ve had two unreasonable guests, furniture broken etc, but I guess that goes with the territory - Airbnb was no help.
The forum is great, lots of good advice and reading the reports of hosts with guests from hell, makes me feel very fortunate!
