I am an interior designer who along with my contractor husband have been restoring old historic homes or just seriously neglected homes with a story. Some we keep and Airbnb and others we flip. It’s been quite a ride the last 6 years 4 of that on Airbnb. My places are Airbnb plus and superhosts from a sleepy sweet hallmark looking town in upstate NY. We feed the wine industry, vacation rentals on two lakes, fishing, hunting and skiing. What started what was a summer business that has really turned into year round rentals.
