Why am I getting last minute requests when I have a 7 day preparation period?

I can’t accept last minute requests, even if I wanted to because this is our primary residence. I need a week of lead time.

Why are these requests coming through?

At a guess it could be that you haven’t set your listing up so that you need to have a seven day advance booking period?

I have mine set up to have at least one day in advance notice.

I think I figured it out: I do have it set with a 7 day advance notice, but there was one, little related setting I didn’t notice. If you have IB on, which I do, people can still request to book inside of the advance notice period, but not book instantly. There was a box to check if you do not want this possibility, which I had missed.
