My version:
In my listing and house notes “The local beaches **** and ** **** are lively, good fun and very popular with Spanish families who spend all day there. They are lined with restaurants and bars. They are NOT beautiful or picturesque. The sand is dark brown (natural colour, not dirty) and the water is safe but sometimes has seaweed and garbage. 50% of guests: “Well, we meant to stay all day on the beach but it was so crowded with Spanish and really the sand wasn’t golden at all, we have nicer sand in Blackpool. And we thought the Mediterranean would be blue…”

Soooooo typical!!! My 50 percent always write that we are further from town than they thought, even though distance and rural location is in my description written a million different ways!! Argh!
