Depends on the star ratings. Bedspreads not always, but duvet covers almost certainly always.
We are not hotels. But since you mentioned itā¦
Iāve stayed in 7 different hotels in two countries over the last 2 years with a price range of $40 to $350 a night and none of them had bedspreads. All have duvet covers or triple sheeting on the duvet. That is the way forward in the hospitality industry

Phew!!
Iāll be in a hotel next week for 5 nights and was getting a little creeped out about the thought of an unwashed bedspread.

Google it. Unless you stay 5 star you will almost certainly find unwashed bedspreads.
Duvet covers, bottom sheets, all pillow cases. For all guests every time. I would not want to find someone elses hair in my bed. And, I do not want a review saying that the guests found some pubes in the bed.
