Wanting to expand: In-home or separate home?

I bought a 2br/1ba condo last year with the sole intent of listing it on Airbnb and other STR platforms. My fiance and I fell in love with Airbnb traveling in other countries and decided to try hosting in the states. We gutted and remodeled the whole place, furnished it and have been booked at almost 100% occupancy ever since.

We’re now about to buy another condo in the same building to do it again. The experience has been great for us so far. Worst case you can stop the STR and turn it into a long term rental.
