This is dedicated to all the hosts who come here to get validation and sympathy for their ‘horrible treatment’ from airbnb or their guests:

  1. Shock and Denial:
    “I’m a flawless host, clearly. These guests are delusional! How could they possibly think I’m in the wrong?”*

2.Pain and Guilt:
“Wait… they left a bad review AND asked for a refund? Oh no, my precious Superhost status! Also… um… they might have a point…”

  1. Anger and Bargaining:
    “The nerve! How dare they complain about my perfect Airbnb! Maybe I’ll just offer them a refund… ugh, but I shouldn’t have to!”*

  2. Depression:
    “Why won’t this wronged host just take our advice and stop arguing? We’re trying to help, but clearly, that’s not what they came here for.”*

5.The Upward Turn (rare):
“Wait a second… maybe I should leave a real review, update my amenity list, and fix that broken faucet… nah, who am I kidding?”*

6.Reconstruction and Working Through (extremely rare):
“Okay, okay, fine. Maybe I’ll actually take responsibility and stop being a nightmare to everyone in this forum.”*

  1. Acceptance and Hope:
    “I guess sometimes contributing positively to the community is better than ranting. Who knew?”*
