Hello,
The City of Portland Maine has a tax on short term rentals, which are shorter than 30 days. We have a 60-day reservation this week and the tenant was charged $590 in -occupancy tax- . Airbnb sends this directly to the City. Is there a way to set up a long term rentals so this does not happen?
Is my best course of action through Airbnb (which is swamp now) or to approach the City?
