Don’t SH show up higher in the search listings, even without searching specifically for the SH status?

Yes, I think so, although I’ve never understood Air’s algorithms.

Totally agree with you - I was just responding to your pondering why hosts might not have Super Status. This was just another reason.
There are also hosts who have lost it because of poor guests being allowed to write a 1 star review. My heart goes out to those hosts the most.
Also totally agree with you that there are likely many hosts who do deserve to have it but may not have been blessed with enough great guests for this assessment period - but lets hope they have better luck next quarter! Lisa

I’ll put my thoughts out on this one, perhaps there are hosts out there that have properties that are only seasonal ? I know that in my area, a lot of cottages and camps shut down and get drained down for the winter.
