When I was a flight attendant we stayed at so many hotels and most had bigger beds except for the hotel in Prestwick, they had twin beds.
Therefore, it became a junior route. Flight attendants with seniority wouldn’t bid for a schedule with layovers in Prestwick. It was a beautiful city and friendly people but we all hated those twin size beds. Seems like we felt a bigger bed provided a good night sleep. I’m glad you kept the bigger bed.
