Also, if you put in a claim due to the behavior of a guest your policy will probably cancelled. It will be very difficult to find a new policy if you have a claim and a cancellation.

I have a special insurance that covers short term guests so it would be rather hilarious if they turn down a claim because of guest damage and behaviour…when that’s what I am paying a premium for .

That article seems to relate to the US rather than on what happens here in the UK.

Yes, when I first brought it up I mentioned that I was talking about the U.S. @Zandra said that it’s the same in England.

The main issue here is increased premiums. It wouldn’t have any effect on the sale of the property though.
