Considering it might go from 65F indoors to 45F in the airing period. Then you have to close up and warm it up again. But it could be done if one can pay the heating bill and stomach the energy wastage.

Or, alternatively, turn the heat off a few hours before opening up the windows and doors. So the room is chilly already, then you’re not just letting all that heat you paid for escape.

For those of you who were doing extensive Covid level cleaning, or worrying about leaving a home for a few days to let Covid ‘go away’… note the new CDC guidelines now advise too much cleaning might be doing more harm than good. Also, there is no risk deemed worth worrying about for surfaces, and nobody has ever caught Covid from surfaces according to the news from CDC.

So the good news is we can go back to ‘normal’ cleaning. Covid hasn’t changed, but the guidelines on cleaning surfaces, or worrying about surfaces or ‘rest’ time certainly has. Phew. One less thing to worry about in life!

(I guess at the time they were not sure, but it takes time to do research, and now the results are in. Yay! We can stop living in fear!.. at least of surface transmission)
