We were Bernie delegates to the state convention in Honolulu last year and hotel rooms were sold out. Because we had to pay expenses from an outer island, it was discouragingly prohibitive. Well Bernie organizers on Oahu created a FB group and a darling young couple–also delegates–offered to house us for the weekend including driving us in and out of the city. Awesome, and we made new friends! Forever grateful.
