Many third world countries don’t have hot water at all…like African countries or even Latino American countries . In Kenya even nice hotels not always have hot water.
I know this, hence my comment about having traveled internationally. Plus, I was married to a New Zealander and we did a lot of third world backpacking/surfing/sailing excursions. Hot water isn’t always a given, even in New Zealand!
