Yes sorry I hadn’t realized until too late. Thanx.
That was just an example of the device. I’m sure somewhere like Amazon will have a U.S. version.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any. I suspect the insecticide in them is not approved for use in the United States.
I got some of the plug-in thingies at one of the big stores - I think it was Bed Bath & Beyond. If not, Target.
I found something similar…biddybug or something like that.
Can you post a link? I can find the ultrasonic bug plug ins, but no chemical ones.

Thank you! I’ll get some and try them out. Unfortunately, I won’t be there for a few months
I am considered mosquito bait. They love me. It’s not reciprocal… I’ve used Tea tree oil on my skin and in a diffuser. Make sure it’s kept away from pets - my Bengal cat loves the smell of Manuka oil but it’s bad for her. I have a little ceramic diffuser where you put a couple drops of oil in the top and a small tea light underneath. When we had the sailboat in NZ, we’d close all the hatches, light up the oil warmer, then open everything after about an hour. The scent would come out the hatches and the mozzies (a major pestilence at Great Barrier Island…) would zoom away. You can also put drops of oil on your skin or socks and it helps.
Thank you for that advice! My DH just started using tea tree shampoo, and it smells great (like chocolate mint to me). I had read tea tree oil kept them away and was interested in trying that.
I sometimes put a drop or two on a lightbulb and that works, too. Good luck! It got so bad on the Caribbean side of Panama that I could actually taste the Deet. That was the last straw for me with that stuff.
