London airbnb law - can leasehold or managing agancy prevent hosting?

I understand that law has changed in London in regard to airbnb hosting. I own a flat as leasehold property. The managing agent found out my listing on airbnb and is asking for explanation. Do I need their permission to let for less than 90 days?


You should check your lease, if there is nothing in mentioned then the management agent can’t really do much about it. As i think i would depend on whether you are rent the entire property or just a room. If it’s just a room, i think you shouldn’t have a problem. But you should check your local councils about short term lets as well. eg… Westminster
