Keyless entry that works with old house?

I change the batteries 2x a year, whether they need it or not. Change clocks, change all batteries in the house.

My Remote Lock smart locks use Lithium Ion batteries - they last at least 4x longer than alkaline - and they have full strength much longer than other batteries, which tend to lose power over time… I have not changed batteries for over 2 years.

we have very similar model, but the handle is incorporated into the unit, otherwise it’s the same.
And yes we had that issue so we had the whole thing replaced. It lasted 7 years, and I can’t be sure if the teenagers were responsible for breaking it… as the others (4 others) have been fine.

I’m starting to think about an old fashioned key in a lock box… but I’ve stayed at places like that and it’s kind of annoying.

I’ll move this issue back to the bottom of my list and continue thinking on it

And I’ll let you know if I find a reliable solution. Thanks all!
