Interesting read re cleaning

It seems like the only way a guest could “prove” that they got the virus at a specific place and have it stand up in court would be if they stayed somewhere for at least 14 days, there were no other people they came in contact with there, and they never, ever went out of the house for that whole time.

We are planning on doing the same. One day in between checkouts and checkins for cleaning. Has anyone shortened existing reservations to allow for this? If so, how did your guests respond?

Regarding the liability, we are planning to add a new waiver type clause to our house rules and will be directing guests to our health authority’s online screening tool for them to complete prior to their arrival. I understand we cannot enforce it, but my thoughts are at least we are doing our due diligence.
