If you've ever wondered how airbnb handles bed bugs

I’m pretty sure that Airbnb is only paying for the exterminator to do the inspection, not to get rid of the pests. From what I’ve read, If the exterminators find bed bugs Airbnb will make you hire a professional exterminator to get rid of them with you paying for it.

By Saturday noon he was calling me again on Whatsapp! Now he’s complaining about how Airbnb isn’t giving him a refund for the 2 nights he didn’t stay with me and that he must put in a resolution but for some reason he can only ask for 1 night refund (of course he felt he deserved 2 nights back.) I just wanted this over with and said fine just put in the request I’ll ok the one night refund (of course he balked at the $3 fee that Airbnb kept).

You should not have done this! I would have told him “YOU caused this problem and it’s in AirBnB’s hands. I am not able to do anything.” I would NEVER refund an idiot like this when it was his fault.

And for reviews, be honest and give him a 1 for communication and say that he knew he came from a bedbug infested place and should have dealt with it before coming to your place.
