No you can’t and it’s annoying. Luckily most hosts advertise it up front.
I have a private room/private bathroom listing and I don’t know if the private bath filter has been eliminated, but I’ll be upset if it has- many of my middle-aged and older guests have told me they like homeshares, but a private bathroom is something they definitely want.
Yes-I’m in the same boat. No one wants to share a bathroom with me!
With all the absurd filters they DO have you would think that they could keep the useful ones!
Haha, I don’t think it’s that they don’t want to share a bathroom with us, specifically, but I think when I was 20, sharing a bathroom wouldn’t have been a big deal, and I certainly don’t mind sharing with friends or family, but now that I’m “of a certain age” the thought of sharing a bathroom with strangers isn’t very appealing.
I can tell you one thing- I am glad I have a bathroom I can dedicate to guests. My 18 year old granddaughter is staying with me right now, and I would not like to share a bathroom with her- the countertop full of false eyelashes, used q-tips and cotton balls, and her plethora of products she spends hours applying would drive me crazy trying to work around.
