How to respond - negative review,

Mason and Dixon came from England to do this work and Mark knopfler’s beautiful song ‘sailing to Philadelphia’, captures the voyage. They were astronomers and surveyors. I’ve loved this song since it’s release but had never researched it so this prompted me to do a bit of research!

Yes, it’s because they can…(and it’s not fair!).

He is such an underrated musician. The guitar on the sultans of swing is one of my Favorites, as are his vocals!

Sorry for my typing, it is the ipad!

Yes, we can see what they’re doing in the living room/kitchen - during one of the rare times we might actually look. You look at these cameras a lot when you first get them, but then you get tired of them and only look if you suspect a problem.

I’ve had a hundred hosts tell me that would put them off - but no one really cares. I think @KKC got it right when he said (he?) the beauty of a market economy is that it’s okay if a lot of people would hate it - as long as there are another lot of people who don’t care!

The thing is - ours is a shared place. My wife and I live here and we’re often in the living room/kitchen. So guests know they’re pretty likely to run into us - in person. So they’re just not going to be doing anything out there they wouldn’t want to be seen.

I can see if we were doing whole house that guests really wouldn’t like a camera - anywhere inside. That makes perfect sense. I wouldn’t want to stay in a whole house with a camera in the living room. That would be a little freaky.

But if I’m staying in the house with the host - then I know I have NO privacy out there anyway and I wouldn’t really care.

Completely agree, and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ has such beauty as to bring a lump in the throat.

My favorite was the Local Hero soundtrack in part due to being in love with the movie as well.
