How to handle claims on Damange

Hi all ,

I got my first major damaged in my host. We found a big hit in one of wall after the guest left.
Contacting them they denied that was them. I am waiting for a quote for the reparation.
Then I believe that I need to claim against their deposit … What happen if they refuse to pay ? Who has the last word? What happen if the reparation are more than the deposit? would airbnb insurance work ?

Have you looked at Airbnb Help Centre? This has information on what you need to do to make a claim either against the deposit or ‘Airbnb’s Host Guarantee’. You need to contact Airbnb to get the ball rolling.

Airbnb has the last word if you ask them to arbitrate.
