Guests left water on

What kind of water company leaves notes on your door? Mom’s water and light , LLC?

Very good question…

I live in a small town, small water company and they will call if something is up and go turn off the water if needed.
So it happens.

Actually, I just moved from a pretty large county in Northern VA. We got a notice several times, from the water company when their equipment picked up that our bill reflected a leak or unusual pattern of some sort. It was printed, in red, right on the bill.

You can put a regulator before that outlet to reduce pressure. That would reduce usage considerably and high pressure isn’t required for washing sand off?

Actually I prefer high pressure for washing sand off but my guests don’t need it!

how about a sign near the hose reminding guests to turn off hose after use; put it in house rules that if hose is left on then guests will be charged $100; have them sign a contract stating penalties for excessive water usage. you can try one of those options. water is liquid gold and shouldn’t be wasted. remind guests to conserve. can’t hurt.

Thinking…

All you need is one of those sprayer things that attaches to the end of a hose. I mean the ones that don’t work unless the user is holding down the trigger.

I belatedly realised that it’s what I use to wash the car, clean the iguana poo off the deck etc. Look for hose spray nozzle at Amazon.

They are under a tenner.

We do have one on it.

Putting in house rules. Is there a way to put a contract in with your listing or is it separate from airbnb?? Newbie here…
