My guess is that it’s standard procedure to do nothing. X% of guests threaten to get a lawyer, sue, go to the media, etc. but the majority of those cases go nowhere. Since only a small percentage of the 10% of problem cases become “bad PR” they continue to do what they do. It’s not cost effective to fix all the problems.
