It’s an amount that is relative to how much you bring in for Airbnb, and how often and how much you claim.
I demonstrate my Velux window in my shower room every time, and quite often a guest still leaves it open so far the rain comes in. Some people have no practical awareness or instinct to look after a building. You can’t idiot proof everything.
True. I explain every single time that guests should not open the windows. We have removed the bug screens from our windows because of our excellent view (the screens seem to take the colours away) and if the windows are open, then mosquitos, palmetto bugs and other nasties can fly in. I always explain that they should open the jalousies on the door (which does have a bug screen) if they feel the need for fresh air.
Although in Florida it’s easier to just go outside in the sunshine for fresh air.
