I think it works out the same, but you pay off the phone in monthly instalments. We bought a few together so got a discounted rate. Now that we are off our plan we are free to shop around and see if we can get a cheaper sim only deal, but as we are rural there’s really only one sensible provider/choice for us and of course they don’t offer cheap deals.
