Long story short:

Germany and Austria have banned the parity clausule years ago.
(I already added the 15% BDC fees onto the prices, consumers that are too lazy too book direct, pay the fees)

The EU- slow and bureaucratic as they are, took several years to ban the parity clausule.

Now consumers are complaining they paid too much for their laziness.
Yes, platforms like BDC and ABNB are easy, but you pay premium, and it’s the consumers choice to use them.
