Reminds be a bit of airline crew bunk beds in airplanes. Except it wasn’t as tight as the one shown. The 747 had a crew rest area in the back of the aircraft and it was three bunk beds at each side. If you sat up, you would hit your head. It was claustrophobic, but the image shown here is a killer. I can’t even imagine sleeping in that thing.
No way this would work in the USA. Is this an AU poster? Maybe this host wants to allow families with children.

This is how slaves were packed in on the slave ships. For weeks. Except they didn’t get a clean sleeping bag folded up under them and they were shackled.
I bet this photo is from a factory in China where there are worker living quarters there or just across the street.
