Early check in vs adding a day

We’re a fly-to location as well. We’re fortunate that 90% of our guests use the driver that partners with us, so he works with our housekeeper to manage arrivals and departures.
The ones that create the most headaches for us are the ones driving themselves after staying somewhere else. They usually want early check in, around 1 pm.
That’s OK, unless we have a same-day turnover. Almost all our guests want a late check out of noon to 1 pm due to flight schedules.
So I take the risk and tell the arriving guests they can ARRIVE one hour after the other guests have left, but that the house will not be ready. It’s worked so far - they arrive and drop off luggage and go to the beach, or they jump in our pool or enjoy a cool drink on the back deck.
