Do I need to decline a guest if they have changed their mind?

Hi folks. I’m new to all this! I’ve had a few enquiries where I’ve messaged back to the potential guest but they have then changed their mind about staying. Do I need to decline these enquiries or just leave them. I go the impression every request had to be pre-approved or declined? Any advice would be much appreciated as I don’t want to adversely affect my rating in searches.

As long as your reply to their message, it doesn’t impact your response rate.

I have found that the more questions I get and answer the happier their stay will be, BUT now I have a list of my place answering the top 12 most-common questions right of the bat, and has saved both a lot of time of going back and forth.
