Dead in the water with Airbnb

We have a full home in the Caribbean and VRBO/HA used to provide 100% of our bookings. But AirBnB has grown, and now provides about one-third of our bookings. But the booking pattern is really “lumpy”. I won’t see anything for a few weeks except a few tire-kicker/window-shopper inquiries, then we’ll get two or three bookings in a week. So I’ve learned not to worry too much when bookings dry up for awhile.
And my unscientific observation is that people are booking later, like CatskillsGrrl mentioned.
