I looked at the blog you linked to and it doesn’t make sense to me. It looks like someone trying to drive clicks to the site without offering any information and I’m inclined to delete the link.
Flushmate is NOT a macerator type toilet. It doesn’t have any electrical connection or a grinder in it. And I know it can’t be flushed with a bucket poured into the tank. I’ve had flushmates for over 25 years and have replaced the tanks myself.
