Cleaning Fees For A Clean Person

That’s what I do, what you see is what you get.

Even after cleaning fees added on? Not always…

My listings are bigger than hotel rooms, and more expensive. It is not apples to apples in my case.

I added a $15 cleaning fee when I reopened in July. That makes my one night rate about 30% higher. As previously discussed it’s a way to make one night stays more expensive than longer stays. I’m willing to host one nighters but with leaving one or two nights between guests I needed to make my rate higher for it to be worth the trouble.

I don’t know if it’s because supply is down or that I accept pets or my years of host and over 600 5 star reviews but I’ve had no trouble getting all the bookings I want. It really makes me wonder if I should continue with the fee after I resume full time hosting.
