Definitely. To do almost any job well requires some level of skill. I had a wonderful house cleaner- I never had to tell her anything-she was really thorough, got in every nook and cranny. I only employed her once every 2 weeks for 4 hours, so she couldn’t get to everything in that time frame, which was okay with me. She always remembered what she had done the previous time and what needed to be done the next.
She quite when she got a full-time job at a big vacation rental, so gave up all the smaller jobs she had. I really miss her- I tried out a couple other gals but they just weren’t up to par- missed a ton of stuff. So now i do all the cleaning myself.
