I can think of at least two more reasons to use a professional rather than DIY:
- Their treatment probably comes with a guarantee such that if the bed bugs return within a certain amount of time they will re-treat the premises at no charge.
- They can confirm that the treatment actually worked and no bedbugs or eggs (or whatever form baby bed bugs take) remain in the house, where you wouldn’t have the experience to tell.
