I have bay windows at home which are fairly new. But they seem to leak air. After reading a blog by landmark home solutions on how to test air leaks on windows( http://www.landmarkquality.com/blog/home-improvement/five-air-leak-tests-to-perform-on-your-windows) I am planning to get it fixed.Can anyone help me with tips to leak proof my windows?
Buy lots of caulking. It seems that is what your bay window installers did not do sufficiently. Is the installation still under warranty? If so get the original people back to do the install corectly this time.
If you’re “planning on getting it fixed” rather than “planning on fixing it myself”, you really don’t need any DIY tips. Just make sure the pros do their job.
