Bad Review for Private Room not being Entire Home

I used to show photos of my amazing sunsets from my lanai… but realized guests are not seeing that so removed it.

"why show what is not available"
Actually we have just one which shows unavailable family room space that is connected to the breakfast area and the captions points out that just the breakfast area is available. Otherwise I more or less agree although a lot of listings show some pictures that I think are just to help set the tone or such like which can be helpful I suppose as long as they do not raise expectations…

I believe that you can have one or the other, but not both. I would remove any photos which show spaces that the guest is not actually welcome to use. The goal here is for guests to feel that they have gotten exactly what they think they have bought, not to disappoint them by pulling away amenities that they were expecting.

Heck. I allow use of my kitchen, but have chosen not to show it in my listing since I don’t really want “everyone” to cook here. The benefit of not showing the kitchen is that absolutely no one has booked my house since they LOVE the kitchen.
