Arriving late....so how about a discount?

I’ve gotten this “reason” for a discount once or twice. “We’re just sleeping there,” they say.

I also had someone request a discount in exchange for cleaning my unit for me.

Others tell me their hardship: they’re in town for a medical procedure, they’re a student, they’re graduating, etc.

I usually get discount seekers when everything else in town is booked.

woa… OMG this is up there in the same category of cheap people I hate! If they did that to me I’d be quite rude and say
“No and please don’t bother to book me, you are not welcome here. Not now not in the future.”
