Are cities or HOA's restricting Airbnb?

I have a 60 acre parcel with 2 homes that are 40 feet apart (in a 10 ag/res zoned area). I live in one and the other is an airbnb so that makes me a non-owner occupied vacation rental

Is it?
To our local laws the parcel would be occupied by its owner, so all the buildings on that parcel would also be occupied by the owner.

I won’t know until the county commissioners make their decision. It is an unoccupied home independent of the house I live in. Where I’m at you can’t have a parcel smaller than 10 acres and it’s one home per 10. It is mainly ag - wheat & alfalfa.

So what will we do if the crunch comes and requires an owner on property?..build another unit …and live separately from husband 2 blocks away.

We have one measly unit basically next door to the building we currently live in. We are thinking that I will just “move” to the unit. Turning it back into a LTR doesn’t appeal to us, and it would mean that our ridiculous city govt. had won.
