@Caslon, while I appreciate your point of view as a guest, this forum is dedicated to hosts assisting hosts. If you have taken the time to read just a few topics, you can see the challenges that us as hosts have to overcome, sometimes just for a few dollars profit.
The solution to your problem is quite simple; if you feel hosts are “taking advantage of you”, simply no longer use Airbnb, or any other STR platform. Marketplaces will find their level, and if this is not to your liking, simply move on.
