I am planning to hosting in Thailand. I haven’t decided the exact city; Chiang Mai or Bangkok is highly possible so far. But i am facing difficulties hosting Airbnb as a foreigner. (I am not Thai) Does anybody know anyone or any company giving aid to foreigners to rent a house (or purchase) and run Airbnb?
Chiang Mai and Bangkok are both great choices. Just be careful with the legal side, anything under 30 days requires a hotel license, and most condos ban short-term rentals. You might want to look into property management companies that can help with the legal setup once you’ve picked a city.
