What to do with items left behind?

I do not know what resort you are in, but it is very easy.

Go onto facebook, in the top type the name of your location and you will some groups:

For Whistler there are many groups:
https://www.facebook.com/search/groups/?q=Whistler

Buy/Sell/trade groups:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/127045804086801/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/513404378671635/
https://www.facebook.com/groups/whistlerski.boardswap/

Free/Recycle stuff:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/328294127266089/

Click “join group” and after they let you in, you can post some pictures in the group.

If the stuff is good, they will drive 90 minutes to get it for free.

I understand the nuisance factor but urge you to try Freecycle or others. I cringe when I thin of useful stuff going to the landfill.

Wow! Cool!! I’ve underestimated Facebook. I’ll definitely give this a try.

Thanks for the info, @Chris!

This is exactly why I don’t want anything left in my place. I don’t want to deal with the judging when I inevitably chuck if away because a) I don’t want it and b) I don’t want to spend any time dealing with it. For me even having to speak to people to see if they want it is more palaver than I can deal with.

Haha awwww.

I just had more guests leave the following: 24 case of beer, two apricot ales, mead, bottle of red wine. Over christmas, my guests gifted me a bottle of red as well.

Yeah just pop it on freecycle (website) and say must pick up and take everything. Honesty I think they’ll go fast!
