The service we offer in that domain, that is quite unique (and used by most contributors on this topic, dare I say ) monitor your listing's on search results every day, and share some metrics of your market (min, max, avg, med, and the number of listings available). Airbnb is experimenting new things with their search results algorithm. From what I see,
- either they fixed a bug, or changed their machine learning algorithm, which dramatically altered the position in search results and rollbacked to the previous version, or
- they are experimenting with some kind of "power cycle", introducing more variability in search results (top listing goes up, then down, then up, then down) for no other reason that the economics of spreading the wealth in a large inventory of listings.
