No. Too hot, too crinkly.
There is a trade off I’m sure. I took the chance until I got the new Nest mattress. A ruined or bedbug infested mattress seems like a bigger hazard than it being too hot. Our summers can be multiple days over 100 with lows in the 80’s. People use the refrigerated window AC to supplement the evaporative air. If it makes people hot I’m sure I’ll hear about it.

yep… right on. no A/C here, but we have screens on everything, even the doors and we have a couple of those big plastic fans.
I do know that room is pretty warm, though. one of the warmest in the house.
