We’re turning 150 this year! Woohoo! While we’re just a baby in most other countries’ eyes, there are many celebrations around the country this year to commemorate this wonderful occasion. Why should you care as an Airbnb host? That means major guest activity, especially in the big cities where events will be held.

Take a look at the calendar and search Google for local events as well to see if there are other events happening in your city. Adjust your pricing accordingly now so you don’t miss out on charging an appropriate rate for your listing, especially as summer months are already extremely busy with the majority of hotels and Airbnb listings booking up anyway. Something else worth noting is that all the national parks are offering free entry this year so it’s a great suggestion for your guests and if you’re close to some great national parks, it could be another reason to increase your pricing even more.
